Toyendale Chapter 9 - The End
Chapter 9
A toyday has passed, but there was no sign from Summer and Rainbow. The
queen grew anxious, she felt the responsibility against Summer, the girl she
basically abducted and her citizen, Rainbow. Daisy, on the other hand, was
furious towards herself, the regret was eating her up. Nana and Tiny tried to
cheer up Daisy since Silver Star was nowhere to be found. He must have left
over the toynight.
"I want to go!" said Daisy to the queen.
"To where? You don't know this place, you will get lost or worse taken
by the same person"
"I cannot sit here and wait for nothing. We should do something, go
out and search for them."
"I have looked everywhere on this world, even your own world again but
there is no sign. I also want to find them, Daisy. You should trust me."
the queen was sad and wanted desperately to help but she did everything she
could. She searched everywhere, well, except one place which she may never go
but the odds were unlikely for them to be there.
"I did everything, send my soldiers all around Toyendale, we just need
to wait until one of them finds a clue."
Daisy left the hall, she could no longer stay in this lifeless castle.
There she was at the gate looking at the statues of ponies, wondering where
Summer could be. From afar point, she saw a glimpse of light, it was Silver
Star galloping towards her. As he got closer, Daisy saw that he was carrying
something, a rectangular shape, which turned out to be an apple red letter.
Silver Star gave the letter to Daisy. At the back of the letter, there was
a golden seal with an "F" sign on it. The queen appeared behind
Daisy, and said: "Let me see it!" Daisy reluctantly give the letter
to the queen, who opened the letter and read: "Come out and play,
sister!" There was no need to guess who might have taken Summer and
Rainbow, her eyes filled up with tears. She turned to Daisy and said:
‘’They are abducted by Flame, my evil twin sister who lives in the South.
You can find them in the great mount Phoenix, but I am afraid I cannot help you
further. You must save them yourselves!’’ she turned her back and went back
inside.
"I thought you were gonna help us!" said Silver Star while
following the queen.
"There!" she said and flipped her fingers. Daisy lost her sense
of gravity and started floating, her hands started to burn. She never felt such
empowerment, as if she was invincible.
"You can channel my powers now, which you will need against the
Flame." said the queen and she granted magical wings for Silver Star,
Nana, Tiny, and Mel. Daisy mounted on Silver Star and thanked Crystal Queen for
her help. She was ready to rescue Summer.
"We would be much stronger if you come with us!" said Silver Star
to the queen. He got no reply but just a look which gave everything away, the Queen
wasn't ready to face her sister.
As they fled to the South, Daisy recognized the frozen lake, chocolate
marsh, cotton candy forest which they passed the last couple of toydays. At the
end of their endlessly feeling journey, they found the volcano, which the queen
briefly mentioned. They landed nearby the crater and hid. Daisy saw Summer and
Silver Star’s sister in the cage next to the huge golden scaled dragon with red
spinal plates.
Here is the plan explained Nana confidently: ‘’We are going to distract
dragon’s attention while you two go and save your sisters.’’ Nana, Mel and Tiny
fled through the dragon and grab his attention by throwing small rocks, the
dragon left the cage unprotected while soaring up towards Nana and Tiny.
Meanwhile, Flame was nowhere to be seen. As Nana and Tiny successfully lured
the dragon towards far away from the mountain, they hid among the thick forest.
Daisy and Silver Star were closer to the cage.‘’Sister’’ cried Summer. Daisy
smiled at him and put her index finger to mouth. Summer understood her and
whispered the little Rainbow that her sister came to save them. Rainbow spotted
her brother Silver Star and give a warm smile. But the golden monster was
flying back towards the cage, Daisy and Silver Star successfully hid behind the
cage. The vision of the dragon was not that good as he got closer, he looked
wrinkled. "He is at least 100 toyyears old" whispered Silver Star.
The dragon seemed not so dangerous when there was no threat to be shown. As
soon as he fell asleep, Daisy used her new powers to frosted the lock of the
cage, she broke the lock with a rock easily. Before they were able to get out
of the cage, Summer saw a hurricane was coming to them. The hurricane threw
Silver Star into the crater, but Silver Star was able to manoeuvre towards the
other side of the crater and saved himself. The dragon woke up and saw that
they were about to escape. It was Flame who appeared in the middle of the
hurricane and the dragon fled to her. And the witch put a circle of fires around
Daisy, Summer and Rainbow. Being surrounded by flames, Rainbow started to cry,
Daisy hugged her to give solace. Silver Star pushed the flames backwards with
his new wings. The flame did not hurt them, as the heat and cold were not
working as they did it in the actual world. It was much more a magical force of
bond. As Silver Star broke the bond, Daisy was able to take them out.
Seeing that the witch came close to them on her dragon. She needed these
girls to restore her power. With their purity and youth, she can have back her
power again and became omnipotent to usurp her sister Crystals throne. Flame
was supposed to be the queen, but her evil twin sister became a ruler just
because she was better than her according to their family.
‘’My sister sent this little girl to
defeat me. How stupid she is, isn’t she? She talked with Mel. Daisy couldn’t
believe that they are sisters since they are different as red and white. She
remembered her mother’s words:
‘’You are two different faces of the same locket, be kind to one another,’’
Daisy promised to herself that she will never let her relationship be like
Flame and Crystal. She was like Flame before she came here. She didn’t treat
her sister well.
‘’You cannot take my sister away from me’’ she yelled.
The witch laughed the small girl in front of her. Flame knew that the girl
couldn’t prevent the sad end of her sister. She raised her hands to send her
fire. At the moment, Daisy’s powers built a huge ice shield which covers
everybody in the circle. Even Flame’s powers couldn’t melt it. All of a sudden
Nana and Tiny showed up from the mountain behind, Daisy yelled "Now"
and Tiny rolled himself as a ball towards the Flame. She fell on the ground,
while Nana tied her hands back. Silver Star was ready to push the Flame towards
the deep volcano.
"Wait," said Daisy, "I will not be a bully!" she walked
towards the Flame, "You deserve a second chance to be better. As everyone
does!"
"No she doesn't, but we will give her one anyway," said Crystal
appearing behind everyone else. She stood in front of her Flame and looked at
her sister in the eye.
‘’You should have come for me instead of harming innocent children.’’ Flame
became furious than ever. She didn’t want to hurt her sister. All she wants is
to be as strong as her.
"You will never understand me!" Flame uttered.
"I never wanted this job and you knew it and resent me for it. Can’t
you see I am also ageing? Everyone is getting older. Wrinkles don't mean that
you are old but experienced. Do you want my throne? Then take it because it is
not important than our relationship. I cannot believe that you turned out to be
so cruel."
"I just wanted to be like you," cried Flame, tears falling
through her cheeks. She remembered their childhood. She and Crystal shared
everything they have, even their powers. Sometimes she let her use her powers
in order to make icy cream in the toysummer and she let her use fire and wind
to make a fountain out of icy gem. This kingdom made them fall apart, none of
them wanted it at first. However, their parents insisted on Crystal to take the
reign of the realm while giving this senseless mountain to Flame to test her,
which made her envy Crystal for it. Flame needed to give up this senseless
resentment. She hugged Crystal as they did ten toyyears ago.
‘’I think I might need your help to rule such a huge kingdom‘’ whispered
Crystal to Flame. The joy of happiness surrounded the Toyendale, the ground
started to shine brighter, the sky went rainbow as all siblings united. Flame
gave wings of fire to Summer and Rainbow so that they can all easily fly to the
Glassgate.
‘’You can visit us whenever you want. From now on, you are also our
sisters. Just use the locket to come here.’’ said Crystal, pointing towards the
heart locket at Daisy`s neck. Summer and Daisy merrily fled to the Glassgate.
They saw Rodd and his siblings in front of the gate as they all came to say
goodbye to Daisy and Summer.
‘’How many people here have siblings?’’ giggled Summer. Luckily there was
no riddle, this time, thought Daisy. They passed through the gate towards their
balcony at their home sweet home.
Next morning, they woke up at the same time and looked at each other
towards their own beds as if all of these adventures were real. Their mother,
Fiona was calling them to the kitchen to have their breakfast. That day Daisy
and Summer played with their toys together in the balcony without having a
single fight while Fiona was tidying their room up. She found a pony with a
small heart-shaped locket on its neck in front of the window but she couldn't
remember when she bought this toy for her daughters.
